Training and Dog Development

Training is available from Briarwisp Gundogs in various forms to suit every aspect and personal circumstance.

Residential Training

Reasidential training is an option that many find benificial; with fast pace modern life and long standing commitments often allow little if any spare time in which to train your gundog. Here at Briarwisp your dog will be welcomed into our fold as one of our own and will be treated with the love and attention that we lavish on our own dogs. Kennels available indoor/outdoor to suit your dogs needs. Training packages tailor made to suit the needs of both the owner and the dog.

Prices start from as little as £80.00 per week for a ten week course

One to One sessions

One to one sessions are available . Each session is tailored to suit the needs of both Owner and the dog

Puppy Programme

Our goal with your puppy during the 60 day programe, is to bring out their natural ability as a gundog. We can build a foundation that will be used for the rest of his/her life. This programme is aimed at puppies 3 - 9 months. Many people use this programme as an evaluation process for young dogs.

Price for full 60 day course is £600

Gundog Training Class

Classes are with like minded people covering all aspects of gundog training. Classes are 1-2 hours as required.No more than three students (with dogs) per class

£15 per student per class

Gun Shy (Gun Acclimatisation)

Briarwisp Gundogs offers training for the gun shy dog. If your dog was introduced to shot incorrectly or came to you as a gun shy dog , we will take the time to correct the issue .
